About AmberHub

A London training room for new traders who want honest craft around support and resistance — not a loud trading floor.

Why we exist

AmberHub Academy started when a handful of London mentors noticed the same pattern: beginners collecting indicators while still unable to explain a single horizontal level. We narrowed the curriculum to technical analysis training with a sharp focus on support and resistance mapping, then kept group sizes small enough that every mark gets challenged.

How we teach

Lessons move from structure to zones to behaviour around levels. We prefer paper markup before screen markup. Critique happens in the room, with examples drawn from liquid instruments that UK-based traders actually watch around the London open. We state plainly that training is educational — markets remain uncertain, and no session guarantees favourable outcomes.

People

Mara Ellison — Lead mentor

Mara spent a decade on sell-side desks before shifting to education. She designs the workshop chart packs and still marks every homework submission from the flagship Saturday.

Tom Rees — Clinic mentor

Tom runs Chart Reading Clinics and facilitates the Practice Circle. His bias is toward fewer lines and clearer invalidation — students either love or argue with that bias, which is the point.

Values we keep visible

  • Specificity over slogans — if a level cannot be explained in one sentence, it probably should not be on the chart
  • Process over scorekeeping — we review mapping quality, not brag screenshots
  • GB context — session timing, examples, and office hours respect UK market rhythm
